My name is Alessia Bonath - a curious soul with a camera in one hand and a bucket list for my next destination in the other. Originally from a small town in Germany, I moved to Vienna after graduating high school. I'm currently studying English and American Studies at the University of Vienna, where my passion for language, storytelling, and cultural exchange only continues to grow.

Next to my love for romance novels, heartfelt movies, waterfalls and the ocean, I am deeply drawn to nature and landscape photography and have an insatiable desire to explore every little corner of the world. It all started with my first solo adventure - a language trip to Oxford. That journey inspired me to create @alessiastraveltales, first as an Instagram account and now as a blog. 

On this blog I will share my adventurous travel tales, photographs, itineraries and recommendations: from iconic sights to hidden gems. My goal? To inspire you to step out of your comfort zone, embrace adventure, and create your own unforgettable travel tales.
